Membership

The mission of CWMA is to provide education, regulatory direction, professional improvement, and environmental awareness to preserve and protect our natural resources from the degrading impacts of invasive species (terrestrial and aquatic vegetation) in Colorado and surrounding states.

Who We Are

CWMA members are dedicated to invasive species management. Our members include professional weed managers representing many government agencies, private and commercial applicators, non-governmental organizations and concerned citizens.

Memberships are based on a calendar year January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018

Individual Membership

  • CWMA Individual Regular Membership is $100.00 per person per year.
  • CWMA Student/Retired Professional Membership is $45.00 per person per year.
  • Memberships run on a calendar year:  January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018

Membership includes the following:

  • CWMA Website: An informative and authoritative website of Colorado weed management topics and educational materials. Weed ID Tool – provides an easy interface to identify noxious weeds. Weed Spotter – a page devoted to alerting our members to new sightings of uncommon weeds.
  • Events: Regular and Student/Retired Professional Members receive a discounted rate at CWMA hosted events such as the Spring Training School and Annual Conference and Tradeshow.
  • Committees: Members may assist in the planning and development of CWMA products and programs.
  • Ray Kessler Memorial Scholarship: CWMA Members can apply for up to $1,500.00 to help fund tuition costs or registrations fees for enrollment in courses and other formal educational programs to advance professional skills and leadership abilities.
  • Legislative Advocacy: there is power in numbers. Uniting for a strong voice for the industry with our legislature. Unique opportunities to participate in new legislation and interact with legislators.

Register 2018 Individual Membership

Group Membership

  • CWMA Group Membership is $400.00 per year
  • Includes Regular Membership for up to five people from your organization.
  • Seasonal members can be included in your group with names to be submitted after hire.
  • Membership is for one year and runs from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.

Membership includes the following:

Register 2018 Group Membership

Weed Advisory Board Membership

  • CWMA Weed Advisory Board Membership is $200.00 per year for Non-voting members (for up to eight people)  that receive all of the other benefits of membership.
  • Weed Advisory Boards are typically County Weed Boards that are mandated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture Noxious Weed Law.
  • One copy of CWMA’s Newsletter “Weed Watch” will be sent to the Advisory Board, please provide address information where indicated on the registration form. Membership runs for one year from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
