CWMA Call for Nominations!

The Colorado Weed Management Association (CWMA) is currently seeking nominations for board of directors, awardees and volunteers for various board and committee positions. If you have a passion for environmental conservation, sustainable land management, and combating invasive weed species, this could be a great opportunity for you to get involved and make a positive impact on Colorado’s ecosystems.

CWMA Board Nominations – Due October 18th

Are you passionate about preserving and protecting our natural resources from the degrading impacts of invasive terrestrial and aquatic species? We need YOUR leadership!

CWMA is looking for individuals with active CWMA membership to be a part of the 2025 CWMA Board of Directors. If you are interested or know of someone that is, please submit a nomination using the button below.

Nominations are due by October 18, 2024.

Terms and Duties of Board Directors

  • The term for each Board Director shall be three (3) years. A Board Director shall serve no more than two (2) consecutive terms.
  • Board Directors shall attend Board meetings.
  • Board Directors shall vote on motions to advance the mission of the Association.
  • Board Directors shall provide strategic direction and perform oversight of the Association’s activities and operations.
  • Board Directors shall serve on at least one committee or Task Team.

CWMA Awards – Due November 8th

There are so many people in the beautiful State of Colorado that work diligently to provide education and management of noxious weed species. Each year we honor some of our most amazing members and partners in the field of noxious weed management. Do you know of a motivated, deserving individual or partner that should be celebrated? Winners will be recognized at the 2024 CWMA Winter Training in December.
