Pesticide Applicator’s Guide to EPA & Endangered Species Act Changes
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is making changes to pesticide labels to protect endangered species, following the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). These changes may require you to take additional steps before applying pesticides, such as implementing spray drift and runoff mitigation measures, and following Endangered Species Bulletins.
The Pesticides team will hosted three virtual informational sessions in March 2025 to help pesticide applicators understand the changes. Each session contained the same information.
