Who We Are

The Colorado Weed Management Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization dedicated to invasive species management. We are a network of professionals dedicated to science based management, including government agencies, private and commercial applicators, non-governmental organizations, and concerned citizens.

Our Mission

The mission of the Colorado Weed Management Association is to strengthen the field of science-based invasive species management.

Legislative Committee

This committee oversees CWMA’s legislative activities and plan Association’s participation in Ag Day.


This committee oversees the scholarship and grant programs, the board nomination process, membership programs and initiatives, and member acquisition and retention.

Membership, Nominations and Professional Development Committee


Marketing and Communications Committee

This committee produces the Weed Watch quarterly newsletter and manages CWMA social media sites.


This committee oversees and coordinates all training activities, including the CWMA Winter and Spring Trainings, and educational content offering training on weed management best practices, issues and trends. This committee also manages the annual award program.

Training and Education Committee


This is committee oversees the publication the Noxious Weeds of Colorado booklet. It is currently inactive until we create a new booklet.
